НЕПРАВИЛЬНЫЕ ГЛАГОЛЫ

Many of the most commonly used Russian verbs are irregular. You need to memorize all forms of this verbs especially.

1. брать – to take
я беру – I take / I am taking
ты берёшь – you (one) take / you (one) are taking
он берёт – he takes / he is taking
она берёт – she takes / she is taking
мы берём – we take / we are taking
вы берёте – you (many) take / you (many) are taking
они берут – they take / they are taking

2. давать – to give
я даю – I give / I am giving
ты даёшь – you (one) give / you (one) are giving
он даёт – he gives / he is giving
она даёт – she gives / she is giving
мы даём – we give / we are giving
вы даёте – you (many) give / you (many) are giving
они дают – they give / they are giving

3. писать – to write
я пишу – I write / I am writing
ты пишешь – you (one) write / you (one) are writing
он пишет – he writes / he is writing
она пишет – she writes / she is writing
мы пишем – we write / we are writing
вы пишете – you (many) write / you (many) are writing
они пишут – they write / they are writing

Упражнение I – Exercise I
Translate the following sentences from English into Russian.
1) Do you (one) take a pencil case? Yes, I take the pencil case. 2) Does he take a pencil case too? No, he doesn’t take a pencil case. 3) Do you (many) take a newspaper? Yes, we take a newspaper. 4) Do they take a newspaper too? No, they don’t take a newspaper. They take a magazine. 5) Do you (many) take a melon? No, we don’t take a melon. We take a pumpkin. 6) Do you (one) take a textbook? Yes, I take the textbook. 7) Does she take the textbook too? No, she doesn’t take a textbook. She takes only a pen and a pencil. 8) Do you (one) take a saucepan? Yes, I take the saucepan.
